Lower Canal Basin Guided Walk

Join Heritage Centre Outreach Officer Matt Thomas for a circular guided walk around the Lower Canal Basin, starting and finishing outside St Budeaux Library. Along the way, Matt will point out places and buildings of historical interest, sharing old photographs and local knowledge to bring the area's past to life. The walk follows a flat, fairly accessible route, lasting around 45 to 60 minutes — though participants will need to be able to cross over the lockgates. This is a free event open to anyone curious about the heritage on their doorstep, whether you're a lifelong local or visiting the area.
