Chris Difford — Songs and Stories in Bude

Chris Difford, co-founder of Squeeze and co-writer of some of British pop's finest songs — Cool for Cats, Up the Junction, Tempted and more — brings an intimate evening to Bude's Parkhouse Centre. As the fitting finale to the 2027 Bude Literary Festival, expect stripped-back performances, dry humour, and readings from his brand-new book. His songwriting credits stretch well beyond Squeeze, with collaborations alongside Elton John, Jools Holland and Bryan Ferry. The evening is seated, with bar and food available from 6pm, and a raffle supporting Bude Lit Fest and Read For Good.
