Tarren live at Calstock Arts

Tarren are a Bristol-based trio pushing folk music into new territory — weaving original compositions alongside traditional material, with modular arrangements and minimalist forms that keep the pulse of dance music firmly at the heart of it all. Sid Goldsmith, Alex Garden, and Danny Pedler between them bring cittern and concertina, fiddle, and accordion to the stage. Their 2022 debut album REVEL drew comparisons with Faustus and Lau, and earned warm notices from folk press. If you enjoy folk that honours its roots while finding something fresh to say, this is a night worth making the trip to Calstock Arts for.
