Five-Day Throwing Course at the Leach Pottery
This five-day course at the Leach Pottery in St Ives takes you through the fundamentals of wheel throwing, with a focus on form, function, and developing your own voice as a maker. Teaching happens in small groups of around five, giving each participant plenty of individual attention alongside tutor demonstrations. The week covers a range of vessel shapes, including an introduction to Leach forms, and includes hands-on challenges such as throwing a pot in three pulls with minimal turning. You'll also have the chance to explore the production studio and kiln room. Several dates are available across autumn and winter 2026.
