Alison Smith at Cawsand Bay Guitarfest
Classical guitarist Alison Smith brings her fluid technique and expressive playing to Cawsand Congregational Church as part of the Cawsand Bay Guitarfest. Described as one of the most exciting guitarists to emerge in recent years, Alison has performed at concert halls and festivals across Europe and broadcast on BBC Radio 3 and BBC Radio Scotland. Her programme draws from her acclaimed repertoire, which includes the world premiere of Rame Head — a piece written for her by composer William Lovelady, inspired by the Rame Peninsula's beautiful headland and sea. Her albums Recuerdos, Incandescent, and Poético are available worldwide. Whether you're a devoted classical music fan or simply curious, this afternoon concert is a chance to hear a remarkable musician up close in one of Cornwall's most characterful village churches.
