Widdershins: Dark Cornish Folklore in Bude

David Mynne, a founder member of Kneehigh Theatre, performs Widdershins — an original piece written for him by Carl Grose and directed by Simon Harvey. Set in a forgotten Cornish village, the show follows local raconteur Bob Droll through a tangle of ghost stories, tall tales and darkly comic folklore, delivered with physical theatre, poetry and plenty of irreverent wit. The open-air performance takes place in The Secret Garden at The Falcon Hotel in Bude, promoted by North Coast Arts as part of their 2026 programme. Bring your own seating or blankets and arrive in good time; refreshments will be available, along with a raffle for a local cause. Suitable for adults and older children aged 12 and over, with a running time of around 80 minutes.
