Jo in the Water — Film Screening at Calstock Arts
Jo in the Water follows Exmouth-based Jo Bateman, a passionate sea swimmer who became a reluctant activist after taking on one of the UK's biggest water companies over sewage pollution. Made by award-winning filmmakers, the documentary picks up where Channel 4's Dirty Business left off — but finds inspiration and hope in the growing movement of people determined to protect our waterways. Featuring Chris Packham and Jeremy Vine, the film is about more than pollution; it's about connection to nature and our sense of place. At Calstock Arts, you can catch the screening followed by a Q&A with director Pip Piper and Jo Bateman herself. Tickets from £5.50.
