20 Years of Mining World Heritage
Marking twenty years since the Cornwall and West Devon Mining Landscape gained World Heritage Site status, this day of talks and music takes place at Calstock Arts in the heart of the Tamar Valley. A programme of speakers will explore the landscape's past, present, and future — covering mining history, archaeology, planning, and the collaboration behind its global significance. Lunchtime music from Clive Charlton brings ballads connected to the heritage site, and a pasty is included with the ticket. Running from 10am into the late afternoon, it's a thoughtful gathering for anyone interested in Cornwall's industrial heritage and its care for generations to come.
