Tarren and James Dixon at The Falcon, Bude

Tarren bring their distinctive New-Folk sound to The Falcon Hotel in Bude — a trio of Bristol-based musicians combining cittern, concertina, fiddle and accordion into tight, intricate arrangements that honour traditional dance music while pushing it somewhere fresh. Since forming during the 2021 lockdowns, they've released two acclaimed albums and earned comparisons to Faustus and Lau. Supporting them is James Dixon, a Cornwall-based folk and roots songwriter whose latest album Good Ground was recorded across churches, pubs and home studios in North Cornwall. Expect a lively evening of original and traditional material from artists who know how to make folk music move a room.
