Amy Matthews: Definitions of Toast
Amy Matthews brings her show Definitions of Toast to The Cornish Bank in Falmouth for one night this November. It's a personal and funny exploration of queer joy, emotional delay, and what it actually takes to get properly, legitimately angry. Matthews uses stand-up to work through the kind of feelings that tend to arrive late — or not quite in the shape you expected. Expect sharp observations and an honest, self-aware voice. A good fit for anyone who likes comedy with something real underneath it. The Cornish Bank is an intimate venue, so the atmosphere should suit the material well.
