Anna Anise Band: Aneth album launch
Anna Anise brings her album launch tour for Aneth to The Falcon Hotel in Bude on Thursday 26 November 2026. Her debut bilingual album weaves English and Cornish (Kernewek), blending melodic hooks, rich vocals, and full-bodied guitar tunings. On stage with her are Lizzie Pridemore, Millie Young, and Issy Meltzer, bringing string arrangements and close harmonies to the arrangements. The album was made possible with creative support from translator Elizabeth Ellis, musical director Daniel Woodfield, and producer Sam Jones. Aneth will be available to buy as vinyl or CD on the night, ahead of a digital release in late December 2026. Support comes from Lore & Lament — Holly and Mitch — a duo formed in Cornwall in 2024 who explore Traditional English and Celtic Folk songs. They describe their sound as "Liminal Alt-Folk" and released their debut single 'Aprcity' in March 2026, with their debut album SOLASTALGIA also forthcoming. Tickets are £16.20. The Falcon Hotel has a bar, food, and accommodation; contact the hotel directly for an event-rate discount on a room. Please bring cash to support a raffle for a local good cause.
