Arty Afternoons: Design a Font at Penlee House
Every Saturday in September, Penlee House Gallery and Museum in Penzance hosts free drop-in art sessions for families with children. This week's activity takes inspiration from the Carefree Cornwall group, who designed their own font for a banner now on display in the Making Her Mark exhibition. Children are invited to create their own alphabet — as bold, colourful, and patterned as they like. No booking is needed; just turn up anytime between 2:30 and 3:30 pm. A lovely way to spend a Saturday afternoon in Penzance without spending a penny.
