Bathing Places: Screening Water Worlds
Held in association with the Bathing Places exhibition at 37 Looe Street gallery, this screening brings together all the artists' films from the show under one roof at Plymouth Arts Cinema. The programme includes a first public screening of Geography of an Archive by Vesna Lukic and Nicole Khayat, whose work evokes Khayat Beach in Palestine. Across the films, waters from distant seas and other beaches find their way into the frame, raising questions about pollution, climate change, and what it means to be immersed in a world that is 71% water. Curators Angela Piccini and Sefryn Penrose will introduce the screening.
