Beaver talk and wetland tour at Heligan

Join Heligan's Wildlife Coordinator, Toby Davies, for a guided evening exploring the return of beavers to the Lost Gardens of Heligan near Mevagissey. The evening begins with a short introduction before heading out through orchard and woodland as the light fades. The walk leads to the beaver wetland, where you'll see first-hand how these animals are reshaping the landscape — felling, damming, and flooding in ways that create rich new habitats for other wildlife. A good fit for anyone curious about Cornwall's rewilding story, whether you're a regular visitor to Heligan or coming for the first time.
