Beginners creative weaving workshop at the Poly
This three-hour beginners workshop takes place at the Poly in Falmouth on Saturday 3 October, starting at 10.30am. Participants will make their own small loom and then weave onto it, learning how woven fabrics are created along the way. A variety of materials is provided — including yarn, ribbon, beads and shells — to create individual small tapestries that can be hung up decoratively or given as gifts. There is time to sketch out designs beforehand, or to start straight away and let the materials lead. All materials are provided.
