Beginner's Handbuilding Stage 1 at The Poly, Falmouth
This four-week course at The Poly in Falmouth takes you through the fundamentals of ceramic handbuilding, covering pinch bowls, slab boxes, and small coiled vessels. You'll be encouraged to experiment with traditional decorative methods throughout, so there's room for creativity from the start. Classes are kept small and friendly, and are taught by experienced potters in modern facilities. The course runs on Monday afternoons or evenings from 31 August to 21 September, making it easy to fit around other commitments. No prior experience is needed — just an interest in getting your hands into clay.
