Carve Club — Norwegian Christmas lino session
Carve Club is a monthly lino printmaking session built around slowing down — the kind of afternoon where you get properly absorbed in carving and forget everything else. Each session takes a different theme, and this November gathering is all about Norwegian Christmas. You'll work with templates and traditional Scandinavian shapes, including the eight-pointed Selbu rose star, to carve and print festive stamps. The finished prints can be assembled into bunting or decorations to take home. Erin from Pick Pretty Paints — a printmaker, author, and teacher based at the Sloop Studios in St Ives — guides you through tools and techniques at every step, with plenty of room for your own experimentation. Suitable for all levels; no previous printmaking experience needed.
