Carve Club — Print and Pattern in Lino Cuts
Carve Club is a monthly lino printmaking session designed to slow you down and draw you into the meditative rhythm of carving and mark-making. This September session focuses on print and pattern — you'll break up the block to create modular abstract shapes, then explore repetitive printing and overlaying techniques inspired by printmaker Eloise Renouf. Erin from Pick Pretty Paints, a printmaker and teacher based at the Sloop Studios in St. Ives, will guide you through the tools and techniques while leaving plenty of room for your own experimentation.
