Charlie Noordewier live at The Cornish Bank
Charlie Noordewier is a folk singer-songwriter from the edges of Dartmoor whose songs move between life's harder edges and quiet dreams of escape, all underpinned by guitar playing that draws on the likes of Elliott Smith and Jackson Browne. He performs equally at home in a trad barn session or in front of a stadium crowd, and his live band brings a real warmth and synergy to the songs. His track "Joy and Despair" found a wide audience online, and he has toured alongside Olivia Dean and Amble among others. This Thursday night show at The Cornish Bank in Falmouth is a good chance to catch him in a proper pub setting before his following grows much further.
