Bodmin Civic Observers — first meeting
Bodmin is looking for 15 founding Civic Observers — local people curious about their town and willing to help establish a new kind of community research project. No expertise, qualifications, or organisational ties required; just an open eye and an interest in how places change. Over five evening sessions running from September through to March, the group will explore the connections between people, places, and ideas — gradually building an evolving picture of Bodmin's life and change. The first meeting takes place on Wednesday 30 September, 7–9pm, at The Old Library in Bodmin. Places are free, limited to 15, and allocated first come first served. The organisers hope this is the beginning of something longer-term, with Civic Observers continuing to map and understand Bodmin well beyond the initial sessions.
