Cornish Hedgerow Textile Hoop Workshop
On Sunday 25 October, textile artist Rebecca Spiking leads a small group through making a Cornish Hedgerow Textile Hoop — a hand-sewn piece that draws on the colours and textures of the Cornish countryside. The workshop runs from 9am to noon. All tools, equipment and tuition are provided, and you are welcome to bring along your own found natural treasures or make use of the materials Rebecca brings with her. Refreshments are included, and there is ten per cent off any purchase in The Upcycled Home Co shop on the day. Suitable for complete beginners and anyone looking for a quiet, creative start to a Sunday morning, spaces are limited and priced at £40 per person. Book by phone or via the organiser's website.
