I Swear tells the true-inspired story of John Davidson MBE, tracing his journey from misunderstood teenager in 1980s Britain to becoming a prominent Tourette syndrome campaigner. The film blends frank honesty with warmth and humour, following John as he navigates life against the odds and finds purpose through the kindness of others. It's a powerful and uplifting watch that sheds light on living with Tourette syndrome in a way that's both entertaining and deeply human. Hosted by Polruan Film Club, this screening takes place at C Fylm in Calstock — a lovely spot for an evening at the cinema in the Tamar Valley.
