Free introductory family history session, St Austell
This free introductory session on family history research is held at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in St Austell on Wednesday 11 November, running from 7:30pm to 9pm. The session covers the basics of genealogical research — from understanding records and certificates to using online tools. It is open to anyone with an interest in discovering their family origins, whether your roots are in Cornwall or further afield. The people running it have both the tools and the knowledge to help, and the session is described as relaxed and friendly.
