Drawing Natural Forms workshop, Redruth
Held at The Art Room in Redruth, this Saturday morning workshop focuses on close observation and expressive drawing of natural forms — flowers, greenery, structure, movement, and detail. It's aimed at people who already have a little drawing experience but have lost momentum, confidence, or simply the habit. Whether you sketch occasionally, once drew regularly, or consider yourself a near-beginner, the session is designed to meet you where you are. Roger Towndrow, former Head of Fine Art at Falmouth University, leads the session with practical guidance throughout. The atmosphere is unhurried and non-judgmental, with plenty of space to work at your own pace and in your own style. The aim is straightforward: to make drawing feel enjoyable and achievable again.
