Drawing with Collage workshop
Roger Towndrow, former Head of Fine Art at Falmouth University, leads this workshop at The Art Room in Redruth on Saturday 14 November at 10:30 am. The session combines collage with drawing, using the element of surprise that collage naturally brings to develop work wherever your imagination takes you. There is practical guidance throughout, with plenty of space to work at your own pace. Tickets from £25. The session is designed for people who already have a bit of experience — you might sketch now and again, or once drew regularly and miss it, but have lost momentum, confidence, or simply haven't had the time to keep going. It is also open to those who would call themselves a beginner, though not a complete beginner making first marks on paper. The aim, as the organisers describe it, is getting started again without judgement or overthinking, and rediscovering drawing as something enjoyable and achievable.
