Drawing workshop: tone, weight and expressive mark-making
This is the second in a series of exploratory drawing workshops led by artist Ruby Bradshaw, held at the Mayor's Parlour in Devonport Guildhall. Building on the first session, Part 2 focuses on developing your drawings through tone, weight, movement and expressive mark-making. The morning runs from 10am to 1pm and is built around observation and experimentation — the kind of slow, attentive looking that tends to change how you draw for good. Open to all abilities, with no prior experience needed. Whether you're picking up a pencil for the first time or looking to push an existing practice, there's space for you here. Places are limited, so booking in advance is advised.
