October half term at Glendurgan Garden
Glendurgan Garden in Mawnan Smith is a National Trust treasure tucked into a sheltered valley running down to the Helford River. October half term is a wonderful time to visit, when the garden takes on rich autumn colours and quieter paths. Children can race through the famous laurel maze or discover the historic walled garden, while grown-ups enjoy dramatic views over the water to Durgan village. It’s a perfect excuse to get outdoors together and explore one of Cornwall’s most beautiful green spaces — and entry is free.
