Seagrass seed collecting at Torpoint
Seagrass meadows are among the most valuable coastal habitats in Britain, supporting marine life and locking away carbon — but they need a helping hand to spread. This volunteer session invites you to join a team collecting seeds from a thriving intertidal meadow at Torpoint, seeds that can go on to restore and expand seagrass cover along Cornwall's coast. No experience is necessary, just a willingness to get involved in practical marine conservation. The session is free to attend and a great way to connect with local coastal ecology work.
