Animal Farm on Castle Lawn, Bude

Young adults from The Minack's Acting Academy bring George Orwell's 'Animal Farm' to life on the Castle Lawn in Bude, professionally directed in this adaptation where a hopeful rebellion for equality unravels as power takes hold. It's a sharp, thought-provoking piece of theatre well suited to ages 12 and above. The open-air setting makes for a memorable summer evening — just bring your own seating or blankets. Refreshments will be available, and there's a raffle on the night to support a local good cause. An indoor alternative is arranged in case of very poor weather.
