Exhibition: Angela Herbert-Hodges at Falmouth
This exhibition at Inspire Makers Ltd in Falmouth brings together abstract paintings by Angela Herbert-Hodges, running from 20 October to 21 November 2026. Her work reflects an abstracted vision of her connection to the environment around her in Cornwall. Herbert-Hodges grew up in Cumbria and has travelled and lived widely, including in London, Spain, Paris, and the USA, where she also exhibited. Five years spent in Zimbabwe shaped her awareness of African wildlife and led to her series of Endangered Animals — paintings of elephants and rhinoceros created to highlight the threat these species face from poaching. She settled in Perranporth in 2021. Her work is influenced by the places she has lived and the people she has met, and she describes herself as deeply passionate about nature and struck by the distinctive Cornish landscape.
