Charity Open Garden at Bareppa, St Winnow

On Sunday 16th August, Bareppa near Lostwithiel opens its gates for the National Garden Scheme, offering a rare chance to explore a privately owned Cornish garden. The space centres on a croquet lawn, with mature trees, flowering shrubs, a productive vegetable area, and resident animals including horses, goats, and ducks. Admission is £5 for adults, with all proceeds supporting nursing and healthcare charities. Children can enjoy the play area and animals, while keen gardeners will appreciate the varied planting. Dogs are not permitted due to the resident animals.
