Pacific Oyster Survey Training at Flushing
Join conservationists at Flushing Sailing Club for a free practical training session focused on identifying and recording Pacific oysters in the Fal estuary. No prior experience is needed — you'll come away with the skills to contribute to ongoing marine biodiversity monitoring in one of Cornwall's most ecologically important waterways. Pacific oysters are an invasive species, and understanding where they're spreading is vital for protecting native habitats. This session gives you a direct role in that work. Whether you're a regular on the water or simply curious about what lives beneath the surface, this is a genuinely useful morning out on the Fal.
