Farm Walk at Downs Farm

This free farm walk gives you a genuine look inside Downs Farm, a working 300-cow dairy operation just outside Penzance. You'll see rotational grazing in practice — a method increasingly valued for its land and animal welfare benefits — led by the people who run the farm day to day. It's a chance to connect with Cornwall's farming community in an informal, hands-on setting. Whether you're a fellow farmer curious about different approaches, or simply someone who wants to understand where food comes from, there's something here to take away. No prior knowledge is needed. Attendance is free, and the walk starts at 11am on Tuesday 15 September.
