Historic tales, smugglers and ghosts on Looe Island
This afternoon tour takes you half a mile off the coast at Looe to explore centuries of stories on the island's rocky shores. Cornwall Wildlife Trust's expert guides lead you through tales of cunning smugglers evading revenue men, and the residents who lived cut off from the mainland. The experience runs from 2pm to just after 5pm, offering a full exploration of the reserve with autumn light settling over the water. It's a rare chance to visit this boat-accessible nature reserve and feel the sense of being somewhere genuinely remote and precious.
