First Look and Meet the Artists at Newlyn Art Gallery
On the Friday evening before they officially open, Newlyn Art Gallery invites you in for an early look at two new exhibitions running through the autumn. It is a relaxed, informal chance to see the work before the public crowds and to speak with the artists themselves. The two shows share The Picture Room and The Studio: SHARP and Alice Mahoney explore identity, landscape and the body through photography, sound, print and sculpture, while Teän Roberts and Maya Ronchetti draw on kelping histories from the Isles of Scilly and our digital distance from nature. Entry is free and everyone is welcome — whether you know the artists' work well or are simply curious about what is on in Penzance this autumn.
