Intaglio Print Sessions with Barton Hargreaves
Barton Hargreaves, an artist printmaker with over 20 years' teaching experience including roles at the Royal Academy Schools and Arts University Plymouth, leads these Friday morning studio sessions at Devonport Guildhall. The series runs on Fridays from 18 September to 23 October, with each session priced at £31. The sessions are designed for printmakers who have completed a beginner's course or already have some experience with intaglio. Working on your own projects, you receive guidance, technical advice and feedback across a range of techniques: drypoint, collagraph, etching, hard ground and soft ground etching, aquatint and tonal work, and inking, wiping and press operation. Places are limited.
