Intaglio print sessions with Barton Hargreaves
These Friday morning sessions at Devonport Guildhall are led by artist printmaker Barton Hargreaves, who brings more than 20 years of teaching experience to an open studio format. Running weekly from 18 September to 23 October, they are designed for printmakers who have completed a beginner's course or already have some grounding in intaglio techniques. Each session is open studio in approach — you work on your own projects while receiving technical guidance and feedback on whichever techniques are relevant to your practice, from drypoint and collagraph to aquatint, etching, inking, and press operation. These sessions suit anyone looking to build confidence, troubleshoot persistent problems, or push a new body of work forward. Places are limited and sessions are priced at £31 each.
