Hannah Maxwell: Turn Your F***ing Phones Off
Hannah Maxwell brings her new comedy show to The Tolmen Centre, Falmouth, fresh from a sellout award-winning run at the Fringe this summer. Despite sounding like an instruction, the title is a note to self. It is Maxwell's own phone she is worried about — the hold it has on her and the data she provides it with. Going into digital detox, she retreats from doomscrolling and dopamine hits, but has an even greater fear: what she sees as a fundamental assault on democracy. She delivers this analysis with equal parts fervour and merriment. Pre-show suppers are available from Cafe Tolmen. To book, phone Barbara on 01326 340630.
