Hannah Snyed brings an evening of storytelling to Calstock Arts, headlined by The Selkie Who Stayed — a darkly funny and deeply felt reworking of the classic selkie myth. It follows a selkie woman who gives up the ocean for love and family, only to find herself adrift in domestic life. The night also features Tales of Freyja, a collection of stories about the fierce Norse goddess. Blending humour, honesty and folklore, this is storytelling at its most intimate. A lovely night out in the Tamar Valley for anyone who loves myth, theatre or a good yarn.
