Hollie Rogers: Full Band Show
Hollie Rogers returns to The Acorn following two sell-out shows there, this time with her full band. Originally from Penzance, she brings a sound built on powerhouse vocals, razor-sharp lyrics and percussive guitar, drawing on influences including Joni Mitchell, Joan Armatrading and Blondie. Her latest album, 'Everything's Fine', achieved three Official Chart Top 10s, including a #2 in the Official Jazz & Blues Chart. Engineered by five-time Grammy-nominated James McMillan, it features collaborations with songwriters Beth Nielsen Chapman and Elles Bailey, alongside a track recorded with The Budapest Symphony Orchestra. The album received multiple five-star reviews in the national press; R&R Magazine described it as "a masterful undertaking; uncommon and remarkable — compulsive listening." She has performed on major festival stages including Glastonbury and has opened for KT Tunstall, Paolo Nutini and Suzanne Vega. Her music is playlisted in every Caffè Nero store worldwide and she is backed by BBC Introducing. This show is part of her UK tour celebrating 'Everything's Fine'.
