Lego bridge-building workshop for home educators
This afternoon workshop invites home-educated families to get hands-on with Lego, using bricks to explore how bridges are designed and built. Running from 1 to 3pm on Monday 19 October, it costs £9.50 per person. Hosted at the Tamar Bridge and Torpoint Ferry Joint Committee in Plymouth — right beside one of the region's most recognisable river crossings — the setting gives the theme a real-world anchor that classroom-based sessions rarely can. Suitable for families who home educate, the session blends creative play with an introduction to engineering principles, making it a good fit for curious young builders of most ages.
