Lego Bridge Workshop for Home Educated Families

Run by Brick Ideas, this hands-on workshop invites home educated children to explore how bridges work through Lego building. Starting with the science of triangles and trusses, groups of two or three work together to construct sections of a Truss bridge before joining them into a structure two to three metres long. The session rounds off with each child designing and building a motorised Lego train to cross their finished bridge. Suitable for ages five and up, with children under eight needing an adult present throughout. Tickets are priced at £9.50 per person, including accompanying adults.
