How to Catch a Book Witch
Kira loves the library more than anything — but one day the words start vanishing from the books, the adults grow grumpy, and someone called Graham Grey wants to knock the whole place down for a car park. With a new friend, the book worm, Kira sets out to find the Book Witch and save the day. Created by Coppice Theatre, a Cornwall-based company, this lively show blends live music, puppetry and storytelling to explore the value of libraries, sharing stories and not judging others. Designed with inclusion in mind, the performance includes keyword signing and integrated captions. Recommended for ages four and up, it runs at The Acorn in Penzance on 26 October.
