In the Bleak Midwinter
In the Bleak Midwinter takes place at Mevagissey Activity Centre, near Saint Austell on Cornwall's south coast, on Friday 13 November. The name and the timing — well into autumn, when the days have shortened and the temperature has dropped — suggest this is an event designed to embrace the season rather than resist it. This is a sports event, so expect some form of outdoor physical activity. Full details of the format have not yet been published, and it is worth checking with the venue or organiser directly for more information as the date approaches.
