Lost Wax Jewellery Workshop with Rare Bear
Elle from Rare Bear leads this three-hour lost wax jewellery workshop at The Exchange in Penzance on Saturday 21 November, starting at 10:00 am. The technique — which the source describes as over 6,000 years old — transforms hand-carved wax into cast metal. During the session, Elle will guide participants through designing and sculpting their own piece, which can be a ring, pendant or small sculpture. The finished wax piece is then professionally cast in brass or bronze; casting takes a couple of weeks and the completed jewellery is posted back to you. No prior experience is needed.
