Moonlight Memory Walk at Heligan

A fundraising walk on the evening of Saturday 7 November at the Lost Gardens of Heligan, Mevagissey, raising vital funds for families supported by three hospices, including Little Harbour. The evening opens with a memory ceremony, followed by a 4km walk along the gardens' lit paths. There are special points along the route where walkers can pause and complete activities in memory of a loved one. Each participant is asked to pledge to raise £60, which the organisers say could fund a support session for a bereaved sibling. Everyone who takes part receives a medal, t-shirt, welcome pack with a candle bag to decorate, a walker sign, a jute bag and small pasty, and entry to the gardens for the evening. An online dedication is included and will be displayed on the night. Registration is open to those aged 12 and over; spectators and dogs are not permitted. Full-price tickets are £20 for adults and £20 for those aged 12 to 17, with discounted rates available on a sliding scale until closer to the event.
