Cumbia Mi Amor at Mount Pleasant Eco Park
Cumbia Mi Amor returns to Mount Pleasant Eco Park in Porthtowan for an end-of-summer celebration rooted in Latin and Afro-diasporic rhythms. Colombian DJs lead the night through clásicos, deep cuts, and rare diasporic gems — cumbia at the heart of it, with salsa, soukous, champeta, early reggaetón, dancehall and more woven throughout. The whole thing runs vinyl-only, which gives the evening a warmth and intention you don't always find at a party. Doors open at 7:30pm, with food available from 6pm. Advance tickets are £10 — worth grabbing ahead of time.
