Mythical Shadow Automaton Workshop, 1pm session
A free workshop at Discovering42 in Bodmin on Saturday 17 October, running from 1pm to 2pm. The session is led by Discovering42, with GRIT Productions' Artistic Director Rob Mennear also taking part and available to answer questions about Shadow Lounge: The Re-Awakening. The workshop is inspired by Shadow Lounge: The Re-Awakening, an immersive world of Bodmin-born myths, spoken word and shadow. Participants make their own mythical shadow automaton; the finished shadow box becomes part of the production before being available to collect after its run. Full details will be shared on the day. No experience is needed, and the workshop is suitable for families and individuals. Booking is required — spaces are limited to 10.
