New Year Viennese Gala at Theatre Royal Plymouth

On Friday 8 January 2027, the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra takes to the stage at Theatre Royal Plymouth for an evening of classical Viennese gala music, with Johann Strauss II and more at the heart of the programme. Expect the sweeping waltzes and celebratory spirit that define the New Year gala tradition — the kind of music that fills a grand hall and lifts the mood well into January. A paid ticketed event, and a good choice for anyone looking to mark the new year with a live orchestral night out in Plymouth.
