Old Spot is the musical project of Rowan Piggott and Joe Danks, and this November they take to the stage at The Acorn in the heart of Penzance. One of West Cornwall's best-loved arts venues, The Acorn has a long history of hosting live music that rewards close listening — the modest scale of the theatre puts you genuinely close to the performers. A duo set in a room this size is a different experience from a bigger venue, and Thursday evenings here tend to draw an engaged, unhurried crowd. Worth a trip into town if you're within reach of Penzance.
